About the Design
Aquaplay is a toy produced by Brinquedos Estrela SA that was popular worldwide during the decade of 1980. [1] [2]
It consists of a small transparent plastic container filled with water [3] and sealed. A button (or two, according to the model) on the base triggered a mechanism in order to do the task of the game. Tasks varied according to the model. For example, a dolphin that should fit all the rings on a skewer; or a basketball that should pass inside the basket. [1]
